This is our DMR/D-Star MMDVM Repeater
MMDVM stands for Multi Mode Digital Voice Modem. Simply put, it’s your Internet gateway to a particular digital network of hams.
The repeater itself consists of two radios, one for receive and the other for transmit.
As with all our repeaters it operates from our cabin site near Harpenden. This is an internet connected repeater that sits normally in a local state ie. it will disconnect from any rooms or talk groups that it has been connected to after about 20 mins. You are free to connect it to any talk group you like or just use it as a local repeater.
